Probably the same reason that I haven't updated some incorrect details on my website despite being aware of it for close to a year, ie. laziness tongue-out

Normally a tech will only be needed if there is a different premises networking option to the previous order(s) (e.g. only the new order has home wiring integration for voice or STB install) or the ONT is missing (or can't be found).

nothing against VF, they have the struggles of many other large RSP's.

 

It's interesting from my overlooking position where, i know what goes on on the other side of things and sit across two very much competing RSP's as a consumer.

 

Unsurprisingly, the pleasantry of the centers are almost incidental. but processes can vary oh so much.
