Just a quick question about the ROW consent rules.
I know that the government changed the rules/law in regards to consent for ROW for fibre installs to notify and if there are no objections then the build can proceed. Was this a law change or a recommendation?
The reason I ask is that it Enable are still following the old rules/law when it comes to consent. Been trying to sort out the ROW build for my parents since April and they share the ROW with 12 other properties. Got consent for all but one which happens to be an empty section and no one who lives down the ROW has any contacts for the vacant property and Enable said they have not heard back from the owners of that property. Enable have said it wont proceed until all consents have been received.
I have asked Enable when they will be following the new rules/laws and I have been told that they haven't decided when they will implement the change.
