Can I use both cables at the same time?

Cause I bought an HDMI cable and it pretty much made the picture on my screen worse.

What are you trying to do?
What are the cables going to and from?
How long are the cables?
Are you using any adapters?
What resolutions?

Please help us, we cannot read your mind!

Rest of my rig is here:

I'm going from an HDMI port on my Tower to an HDMI port on my monitor
The cord is abouts about 2m long...
Here the cable bought:

No adapters used (atleast not that I know of)

Sounds like an overscan problem, basically the video card is assuming you're outputting to a tv rather than a monitor

Here's how to get to the settings you want to change

Hold up, it was the video that was just really bad.
I switched back to the DVI and the video was still bad.

My HDMI cable does give clearer images on videos etc,
However my font/text seems to be a bit blurry-ish

Edit: Just scaled it up a bit, text looks clearer now,

Thanks for that!!!!
