Internet Browser Blackberry Device - Mobile Carrier - Blackberry Infrastructure - Internet Blackberry Browser Blackberry Device - Mobile Carrier - Blackberry Infrastructure - Corp Firewall - Corporate Blackberry Server - Corp Proxy - Corp Firewall - Internet
This is a simplified flow of the data traffic flowing from your device, so if you were now to view the places where this could be affectively slowed down you can't really move past your local environment first. I would initially do as JohnR mentioned and swap from Blackberry Browser to Internet Browser under the Advanced Options > Browsers. When you next open a frest Browser session this will point your data through the Internet Browser ensure you do not use your old bookmarks as these will potentially have all stored the Blackberry Browser as their default

The 9700 is a lovely phone. As someone earlier said there are three browsers on your phone and you can set them if allowed by going to options/Advanced/browser and change the top two items only The Blackberry browser will go through your company BEs server which does have several advantages. One it will get virus scanned as it passes through the server. Im my company it also gets routed through a transparent proxy which can monitor and if necessary prohibt certain web sites. Most firms are required to ensure their staff to not get access to certain sites. If the BES policies allow you can switch to Internet Browser which will bypass the BES server and go straight out onto Vodafone network. IF you are using Bolds and you have wifi available at work you should defintely turn on wifi and your browsers will sue that instead and save a lot of money on your Vodafone bill. Same applies at home use your wifi and save company money
