I managed to get a few rounds on B2K, but not without issues however.

I kept getting prompted by the "Content Not Available" error everytime I try to join a new server, and the only way around it so far that has worked for me is to:

a)clear browser cache

b)restart PC

Most annonying. I think I will revert back to playing Skyrim until this problem is sorted thanks EA and Dice, thank you very flubbin much.

I had to rejoin the server a few times then it would get past the "content not available" error. Got a few rounds in on strike of karkand and then map changed to Oman, got about 1 minute in and it disconnected, checked the time and it was 12:30am so left it there.
The destruction upgrade is really noticeable, what a cluster #$%! karkand was after 20mins :D. Having only briefly played Battlefield 2 back in the day (due to being a student at the time with lack of funds for a decent pc) these "new" maps will be quite refreshing!

Can't even get online! Keep getting some message that the authentication server may be down.
I was going to play the single player campaign instead, but then I took an arrow to the knee.

Maps are very well done. Will BF3 now with the bf2 maps still be going 5yrs from now? You can bet on it.

This will just be the tip of the iceberg, im expecting a lot of good DLC content for BF3 over the next couple of years.
