Hi guys, I hope I've started this thread in the right place.

We have recently (approx 2 months ago) had Vodafone cable internet installed. The router etc was all inclusive when we signed up.

There seems to be this issue where the internet will cut in and out at times. It's hard to explain but i'll try.

The other night, I was downloading a movie. The first 20% went OK, then it started cutting in and out. I would have full signal and the speed would get up high, then all of a sudden the download speed would drop consistently until it reached zero, then the signal would show that I had been disconnected from the router/network. Then maybe 10 seconds later I would be reconnected, the download speed would go up again, then drop, then disconnect.

Each of these cycles (speed up, slow down, disconnect, reconnect) would take approx 45 seconds. So I got nowhere with the download.

Also, sometimes I will click on a link or attempt to load a website and get the "Unable to connect to internet" page. I will attempt to reopen the website and it will generally work on the 2nd or 3rd attempt.

This affects all the devices connected to our wifi but seems to affect me more. I am being forced to use my mobile as a wifi hotspot most nights.

Any idea why this may be happening? Is it a router or ISP issue or something to do with my device?

Sorry, the error page displayed when I try to open a page but it fails on the first attempt says "Unable to access the network". If that helps at all...

If it happens on all computers try and isolate all the others out etc.
If it happens again,. Faulty unit and get Netcomm to replace if its one of those ones.

Get a better router, those Netcomm ones are absolute crap.

I personally use a Mikrotik but they're a bit nasty to set up for new users.
