I've got a very strange issue - I've been helping a customer with their Wifi setup - the site has two 'offices' - a small home office that has a Spark/Huawei HG659b, connected to the fiber ONT, and another 'main office' attached to the garage. The site has a Spark fiber connection.
They have been running a single UAP-AC-Lite in the main office, cabled directly from the HG659b. They have had no issues since this device was set up. There is a large leased copier in the home office.
I have added a second UAP-AC-Lite in the home office, have re-adopted both to a Unifi Controller installed on my laptop, and configured them with the same settings that were previously running fine. As soon as the second UAP is added to the system, the scanner in the home office is unable to email scanned items to external addresses. The WiFi inside (anything connecting to the new UAP) is patchy too, mobile devices get a 'no interet' connection. If I disconnect the UAP (in the same room as the copier), everything starts working again.
I swapped the new UAP with the same model from my office, and their UAP runs great here. The same problem occurs in the home office with my UAP, which was stable in my office from day one.
I am pretty stumped by this one, I've run Unifi networks all over the place with zero issues, and with a lot more AP's than this! Hopefully one of the GZ gurus will have some suggestions...
On the controller settings I've turned off DHCP. It should be a very simple configuration, I'm running the same setup at home with 3 UAPs. Maybe I'm missing something simple!
Thanks in advance!
