I have a similar problem with my daughter, so am interested to know how the OP gets on.
A year or so ago the only computer in the house was a Windows 7 PC and I controlled my daughter's access by setting times for her account under Control Panel / User Accounts & Family Safety / Parental Controls, and also setting internet access times using McAfee Security Centre.
Now my wife and daughter have iPads, and the only way to control my daughter's access seems to be to physically take the device off her.
If there's a way to go back to an automated system, that works, I'm interested! I'd prefer not to have to buy another router, but if that's what it takes I would do it (it would have to be something pretty easy to set up, as I'm no router genius).
