Would a motorola v3 car charger work on anything that has a usb socket on it? I notice they often list them as charging a lot of HTC phones and others. I have a couple of media players that use a mini usb to charge, and would be handy in the car. Dont want to get one only to find they somehow detect the phone and only power a suitable phone.

All my mini USB chargers work on all my devices, including a Titan and a V3 Motorola (and headphones and other stuff)

The only thing I can think of would be to keep an eye on the amps - I have seen 500mA and 1A mini-USB chargers, and devices that were expecting the latter weren't especially excited about being plugged into the former.

Actually, that reminds me of another thing, with something like a jasjam which has its audio out on the butchered mini usb, is there a Y cable so you can plug both headphones and a charger into it at the same time? Seems a huge ommision to not be able to do both at once.
