Bummer you didn't get it working as they really are good devices. If your Fibaro one works for you then no big deal. I did manage to get mine working correctly including reporting power usage (had to set some of the parameters manually before it would do it). I have mine working well both on/off/dim via wall switch (using Clipsal Saturn bellpush). Also managed to get it set so it would show the device being on/off when turned on by the switch. Default settings didn't have that enabled strangely.

Yea I couldn't spend to much time mucking around with it as the Sparky was there with me and wanted to keep moving. We are moving in this weekend so I see quite a few hours getting sunk into getting everything automated... I have bought a google home so will need to get that integration working as well :) 

 

I can already see where having the zwave is going to make life easier. We didnt think about having a switch for the living room by the kitchen but I think I will be able to use the S2 input on the dimmer in the dinning room switch as a remote switch for the living room.
