Does any one have one of these? I'd like to know what input voltage it takes as I'm wondering if it could be adapted for in car use. Voltage is not in the specs or written on the sealed package.

I have been looking at products like this but had not seen this one so will be interested to see the responses if people mention performance. I had been thinking about this:

Having seen your post, I decided to buy one of these Logitech units. Have ordered from Ascent and it should be here in a few days, so if no-one has answered your question I should be able to do so when I receive it.

Your query reminded me of another product I saw last week on Crave because the reviewer talks about using this unit in his car - similar to your idea.:

I emailed the company asking if they ship to NZ because nothing on their website about this, but they didn't bother to reply. This was before I knew that Belkin, and now Logitech, make similar products.

Excellent thanks! I haven't even been able to get info from Logitech support. Don't know why it's such a big secret!

Have now received the unit. Wall adapter output is 5v, 1 amp.

Just connected it up to my stereo. It paired easily with my iPad and Android phone and receives perfectly at one end of our lounge when I stand with the phone/iPad at the other diagonal corner, a distance of about 10 metres. That's all I want from it so it seems to be ideal for my purposes. I think it will be great.

Just to complete the thread. I bought the Logitech BT Adapter. Built a 12 to 5v power supply from a Jaycar kit and hard wired it into my ute. Connected the Logitech, works a treat. Thanks for your help eracode.
