I don't have a problem. Never have had.

I know there was a calendar glitch in 4.0, but they fixed that in 4.1

My phone seems fine as far as the alarm function goes though.

Add me to the list of "this happened to me".

Being woken up at 5:30 this morning (feels like 4:30) but then having to wake up again at 6:30 (feels like 5:30) was not fun at all.

I don't think it can be as simple as "any repeating alarm", though, as my wife has an alarm set at 6:10 on Mondays only, and that went off fine (yet another wake up for me this morning, gah!)

My alarm was 'every Monday' and it went off an hour earlier

I have 2 weekday alarms on my iP 4 (4.1) and both went off at the correct time.

Mine went off correctly this morning and changed to the correct time yesterday morning at 2am.
I am on ios 4.01
I am also on XT. Are the ones with problems on vodafone ? As vodafone doesn't set the time for you but telecom does automatically ...

I'm on Vodafone but my clock changed automatically. I saw it change from 1.59 to 3.00am right at the time, so the DST is in the software, and the clock is right, but the alarm times aren't matching to the current time on the phone.

My two cents:

Alarm went off at the wrong time this morning (1 hour early).
Deleted those ones.
Set a new alarm and it went off at the correct time (not repeating).
Deleted.
Set a new alarm repeating, did not go off (tested x 2).

It looks the repeating alarms would have been "right" if we hadn't changed to DST.

(ie. the code is not adding DST to the recurring alarm, therefore the time probably comes from a different source in the stack - maybe due to the added day of the week query?)

Or the DST call is added manually as an overlay in the international settings like the time zone and this overlay hasn't been added to the recurring alarm code.

My Galaxy went off at the right time...but a prank caller got me about 2 hours earlier than my alarm! Wasn't happy!

It could be that the repeating alarm DST logic in 4.1 is using the old NZ DST rules from pre-2007, ie. it doesn't think DST starts until this coming Sunday.  If that's the case, three things will happen:

1.  This issue won't show up in all other timezones entering/leaving DST.
2.  Since such a small minority of iPhone users worldwide are affected, it will take a long time to get fixed.
3.  Everyone that has deliberately set their repeating alarms an hour late to counter this issue will get an hour's extra sleep next week ;-)

I'm on 4.01 on a 3GS
I was on holiday when all the later versions came out and haven't updated yet.
That version is working fine for me so I have just left it until a less buggy version comes out.

I'd also like to know what time zone people have their phones set to?

Mine is set to Auckland.
