Has anyone taken this for a spin on there Iphone yet? Impressive results streaming from TV.com and a few others sites, it's a shame it blocks tvnz on demand because of geographical restrictions.

Ipad version would be nice as well.

I just hopped on here hoping for a review, lol. I'm going to try it out just so I can do the stuff.co.nz daily trivia quiz. :)

Not available in the apps store anymore. Pity. The link from their website returns no results in the app store.

Demand on their servers have forced them to remove from sale.

Obviously flash isn't dead just yet :-)

Skyfire works reasonably well. I've been using it on Android for most of the past year. It's not as good as Flash, but it's as close as you can get without it for viewing Flash content.

Android v2.2 has Flash support now and both TVNZ and TV3's  'On Demand' services work fine on my phone.

Maybe Apple will allow Flash on the iPhone if enough people make it clear they want it. If not, then at least people have other options - on and off the iPhone.

There are no other options, this is the significance of Skyfire as it's the only device that supports it.

Thought that was the case.

You'd think with the huge demand (read here: http://iphoneblogr.com/2010/11/skyfire-application-temporarily-sold-out/ ) that Apple might see how much Flash is missed! It's lack is a complete pita.

Lack of flash support was one of the biggest reasons why I didn't want the iphone.

I notice the lack of flash more on the iPad than iPhone...

I'm enjoying the Adobe vs Apple stoush tho I have to say. Apple seem intent on changing the web to the HTML5 standard. As far as they're concerned they have 14 million iPhone 4 purchasees (and not sure how many million iPad owners) who have essentially voted for precisely that.
