I have a project coming up in which I will need about x10 305 meter drums of Cat6 and was planning on placing an order today.  I visited my local distributor who offered us a deal on some Krone Cat6, beige colour cable at a great price, the only issue is I just have to buy a whole pallet load, x32 drums on the pallet.

The trade price is $308+gst and have been offered $152.50+gst per drum.  If I get enough people wanting to purchase a drum, I will get in the pallet, you only have to pay for the drum and freight if needed, no mark-up from us, you pay what we pay (GST invoice supplied).  If we do not get the numbers we will settle with getting in drums only for us, but if we can supply a quality product for others to save on, then I'm all for it.

So if you have a project coming up or needing some now, let us know and if I can get the numbers I will arrange the pallet load.

We use Krone as our main cable mainly because they come with the "ReelSpeed" drum for easy stacking and pulling.  More info on the cable can be found in the following links....HERE or HERE

We are located in Paraparaumu on the Kapiti Coast.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

That's an extremely good price!! Krone cable is by far the very best cable available. The best thing about it is it doesn't have a memory from being wrapped on the drum, it lies out nice and flat.

If it was pick up from Auckland, I'd be keen. I get a very good price on my cable rolls, so once you add hassles and cost of freight, it's not quite so appealing :(

Yes one or two, depending on the ETA.

How fast is the delivery?

I am hoping to get at least 22 drums lined up for purchase within the next week, the delivery of the pallet is normally 2-3 days from order date via freight.  Delivery from site is dependant on which courier or freight company that's chosen, pick-up is as quick as you can get here :)

Maybe we could a few drums in a single load to Auckland for pickup?

Would be also keen on a Drum but I would imagine shipping will be the killer to Auckland. Would be keen on combining shipping if it's going to be cheaper.

I'll be in for 2 drums in Auckland. I am travelling there frequently enough at the moment to pick up from there.

Hi all, just an update as to the purchase of the pallet load.  Unfortunately I could not get the numbers for a full pallet load and asked for a half pallet (and a little more) and what deal I could get on that, instead of the $152.50+gst per drum, I have been offered $158.80+gst per drum, still a great deal but not the original.  I will hopefully be ordering on Monday/Tuesday.

If there is anyone in Auckland who wants to take up the ownership of organising the delivery and dispatching from your end, I can have an amount freighted to a location of your choice.  If we can get the numbers, I will have approx 14 drums to send around NZ, obviously sending one load to one location would benefit everyone.

Payment will need to be made prior to freighting from each party who wishes to take advantage, and a GST invoice will be supplied once payment has been received.  We can get a price for freight to Auckland for multiple drums as soon as we have a rough amount of takers, shouldn't be too much extra per drum if done in bulk.

Please PM me with the exact amount you would like and post on this thread if you would like to be the Auckland or Christchurch dispatcher :), I will update this thread over the weekend with amounts and areas the drums are going to.

Sorry guys and gals, deal will not go be done this time.  I didn't quite get the numbers I needed to order without having too many left over.

Just came across this - we could definitely buy quite a few for work (Wellington). How many were you short in the end?
