I'm looking for

- A 5th or 6th gen NUC, I3 or I5 model preferably thicker model that supports 2.5inch SATA drives.

- 10inch Android tablet, doesn't have to be too powerful, but must cope with everyday tasks without grinding to a halt. (Most used apps would be facebook, chrome, instagram and some photo editing/college apps.)

I'm located in Wellington, but Tablet is for someone in Auckland.

Thanks!

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

I have an MSI Cubi Pentium version that I was looking to sell. It supports both mSata and 2.5in drives. I have got 8gb RAM for it as well. Had a thread going a couple of months ago. Maybe underpowered for what you are looking for, but if you could consider it for $400 with the 8gb ram?

Thanks for the offer, but I believe I'd be stretching the performance quite thin for what I want with an I3, a Pentium sadly will definitely not perform well enough.

Would the Celeron based NUC's be too slow for you too?

I have a DN2820FYKH (I think that's right) - its the model with the updated CPU.  Never used, still in packaging.

Are you looking for CPU performance or GPU performance?

Yeah wouldn't really fit my use case either, sorry. Both IGPU and CPU performance are important to me. IGPU for media playback, and CPU for multitasking. I'll have the NUC in place as a lightweight multipurpose home server, so the CPU needs to be able to handle some multitasking, while the IGPU should be future proofed and capable of 4k playback. The Celeron NUC also seems to be too stripped down for my liking (No M.2 slot, one Ram slot, 1 USB 3.0 port etc)

I do appreciate the offers though!

No worries mate. Just thought I'd offer a solution. This one is rated for 4k playback however so thought it might fulfill your needs.
