My sister is with 2 Degrees, her speeds are garbage as well.

Please note - 2degrees (as per the above) own Slingshot, Orcon etc. Highly likely your sister is on the same Vocus core as you are as they're currently migrating customers over. Some legacy 2degrees customers (such as myself) are not seeing any issues but I can verify I am still on the old network. This issue only appears to be relevant to the Vocus network.

And re - 12/3 - speeds are back to normal. Expected this ~ midnight. Regular speeds to the tests I was running earlier and seeing 2-3mpbs. Now seeing 900+ to these test locations.

Really hope someone from Orcon or 2degrees NOC or similar would see this thread.

Thanks

They’re closed during the times that this happens! Someone above did yesterday during the day and he posted how that went - unsurprisingly terrible!

Good luck! Ask for the issue to be escalated and point them to this thread which will provide evidence that it’s not a local error but wider.

I even saw a small change to my Orcon speed test to Xtreme last night.

Ping was 10 and upload was 97. Download was about normal at 328.

Now it is absolutely normal at ping 2, 329 down and 108 up.

I have logged the fault and asked for it to be escalated. I will contact their support and have the ticket updated should this occur over the next few nights.

Oh for the good old days when the Orcon boys were on here and sorted stuff for us.

Not complaining but they were definitely champs then.

I've lodged a ticket with Slingshot.

They're saying there shouldn't be a connection between this issue and the 2D network migration.

I'll post the outcome.

Cleaner comes in at 8pm each night, unplugs this funny box of wires, plugs in vaccuum cleaner.
