Another suggestion is to install the Opera Mini browser. It can dramatically reduce the size of web pages and is highly optimised for mobile browsing.

I have done test doing the same task over a week, 2 degrees seem to last longer than vodafone.. so 50mb will last a bit

Pretty much all I do is check plain text emails. 50mb would last me 3 months even with downloading the occasional app

Unfortunately the 50mb expires every month :( :(

Gmail blocked at work, so use my phone.

My screen is a bit small to bother doing much else. Forums are especially annoying. Probably use a lot more net when I upgrade phone

If, like me, you have wifi at home and work, and those are the two places you spend the majority of your time, then 50MB will probably last you quite a long time.
