Anyone noticed Primes picture quality getting more pixelated or softer?
I have Freeview HD, other channels look fine, but I've noticed over the last month or so, the picture getting worse.
It has very little definition, even for a SD channel.
Is it just me? Or am I getting to used to HD channels and movies.

Maybe it's Sky's way of trying to get people onto Sky "HD"!

Perfectly OK here in Auckland off Waiatarua.
No pixellation and normal for SD.

Prime has always been a low bitrate vulgarity. It is low cost Kordia stream. Prime runs at 3 Mbps max. on terrestrial but looks more like a re-encode of the sat mpeg2 3 Mbps effort. Sky's SD channels have the color fidelity of dish water.

I find that Prime looks slightly less compressed than TV3 on Freeview Satellite, which really shows just how bad the Satellite service is compared with terrestrial.

Prime on Freeview|HD is shocking. It's right up there with Air NZ's IFE when it comes to the level of "unwatchable".

Yea Prime on Freeview UHF is not very good.

We don't watch much of it for that reason.

not only is it largely unwatchable but also unlistenable.

sub-mp3 audio quality.
