I need to replace some LNBs for D1, D2 and IS19. Can anyone recommend quality LNBs like the old Sky Sharp one, that do not fall apart in our climate? The cheap ones off of Trade Me are disintegrating after only a few years and I don't want to have to do this again.

Also, what is the best thing to use for protecting cable connection points? I want to try to do it right this time.

Hi there.

Have a look around on Ebay Ozz.
I bought in a stack of Sharp lnbs with both either Dual or Quad Outputs a while back - all Brand new in there boxes for a pretty reasonable price plus a bit of freight.

I found the selection in NZ not the greatest - mainly cheap and un reliable like you have found.
And then when you do find a good quality one - they want an arm and a leg for them.

Cheers:
