Since coming back from Japan, I am seeing 4G+ on my cellphone when in Central Dunedin 

 

I am curious what this actually means - doing a speed test via the Speed Test app gave me poorish results - 20Mb/s Down, 30Mb/s Up

I believe it is carrier aggregation. Seeing it in parts of Wellington as well.

Yes it's CA I suspect on band3 and band28

Noticed it here in Rolleston too on 2degrees. Speed test varies but have had up to 95 down and 20 up.
