Can you limit the data for specific phones? If I had the kids sharing my data they'd drain it in the first week!

I don't see the point of these plans, to me they are really expensive, rather just seperate plans?

To some respect your right, it can be cheaper to be on seperate plans.

Personally the way i use them is, I've got a nice hefty plan... i can often use only a few GB but some months blow out heavy.

My partner normally uses 1-2GB some months also a little heavy. Those months really bothered me with her on a 2GB plan, tracking would be impossible. broken communication etc.

Lastly, i've got my hotspot. Which i only use in situations that i'm on the road and need a little extra 'gain' so some months it gets maybe 100mb while others serveral gb.

Obviously i could switch sims, but sharing just... makes it easy and simple.

It's convent, and that there is the gotcha.

There are very few share plans out there that dollar for dollar are cheaper(especially at the lower end) until you hit massive corporate plans

If it was just sharing of data, they could just share without this $25 fee.

on 2d absolutely (or gifting on skinny), but i was more commenting on the draw for share plans overall

Yep.  $55 + $25 + $25 + $25.  Family of four.  Could just get 4x $19/29.  Does offer more versatility though.
