It all depends on upload bandwidth available, number of threads, blah blah blah.

Instead of posting here just to say you got an email, why not try and figure out (or guess) how many SIM cards they'll be able to send per day?

Not that big a deal surely?

I mean, if you don't use $5 credit in close to 3 months, then you probably are the type of customer that would cost 2d (or any provider) more money to have on their database than they are getting in revenue.

HI,
I received a text last Friday saying the $5 sim card was sent to me but have still yet to receive same. Am in CHristchurch. Anyone else have this problem or am I being too impatient??

I got a text saying they hadn't forgotten about me and i'd have it by the 15th. I got it today. Was expecting a txt a day before it was sent but I guess not.

I got a TXT from them last monday saying my sim card was on its way but i sitll have not recevied it,i think the posties have been stealing them,there is a page on 2 degrees website where you can go and email them about it and they will send you anthoer $5 one out

Got the txt on the 4th saying the sim is in the post, watched the letterbox like a hawk until the 11th, but no sim, sent an email on the 11th and got no reply, sent another email early this morning expressing my displeasure at the lack of response but also with the understanding they have a huge amount on their plate. Half an hour ago i decided to ring them and after spending 10 mins waiting to speak with a real being i finally managed to find out that there is thousands of people in the same vote as me. they have assured me that i will receive the free sim but its going to take another 10 days before they get to sending it so i can assume it will be at least 2 weeks before i get it. It seems very strange that so many sims have vanished in the post, a small number i can understand but to have such a large amount just vanish leads me to think theres some thievery and corruption within NZPost. I have made a complaint with NZ Post at their website "http://www.nzpost.co.nz/Cultures/en-NZ/Help/CustomerInquiryForm/CustomerInquiryFormN.htm" and plan to ring them this arvo. everyone that has not got their sim yet should also make a complaint about missing/stolen mail too, i think its a bit unfair on 2d that NZ Post fails to provide a quality service and 2d gets the blame for it. BAD NZ Post, SHAME ON YOU, time NZ Post made a public apology to 2d and all the affected supporters of 2d. anyway enough ranting from me, time to get on the blower!!!

Got the text too on the 5th and still no SIM. Will wait a couple of days before enquiring about it. I did have a bad feeling since the begining of the promo that people at NZ Post may potentially end up pocketing a lot of the Chinwag SIM cards.
