Wanting to put up a pretty small Joomla site for a non-profit, and 24/7 Hosting has pretty good pricing. Any gotchas? Searched geekzone and didn't see any recent moans.

Joomla is great. Built hundreds of websites with it and its been getting far ebtter far more quickly recently with the new versions.

The guy that runs it has only been on Fair Go twice, so I am sure they are wonderful.

I would keep searching.

The site is already in joomla, so no likely possibility of change.

The Fair Go material is 2 yrs old, and I think there's been an ownership change since then FWIW.

Change of owner was pre Fair Go (was sold 3-4 years ago).

Fair enough about the article being quite old, they may have improved.

But that's a bit of a bias response coming from you right? (I see that WebDrive logo behind your DP) ;)

I've dealt with them in the past, seem alright now but I've also read my fair share of bad feedback about them, I've used WebDrive in the past too and they were quite good too.

Have you tried emailing various hosts seeing if they'll host for free? Given that it's a non-profit, they might be accommodating.

Problem is they get so many requests like this generally its hard to accommodate it when its the norm.
