For small company's, the % on merchant account + % on gateway does make it hard.

However, it's still all a lot cheaper than Trademe seller fees I guess!

What would be cool is if Trademe opened up their PayNow / Ping platform for non Trademe sales (as it's only 1.95% per transaction)

However, I doubt they would as that's helping their competition (direct e-commerce sites instead of via their platform)
