I ended up using Helium and it seemed to work well backing up the apps i picked out to sd card and restoring on new device with the sd swapped over.

I have one game though that logs in with device id so it seems im stuffed there coz my new phone it wants me to start new! Grrrr

on a side note the S3 feels tiny in my hand compared to the Note 3.

I just got the Galaxy Note 3 & Gear bundle on contract today through TelecomNZ. My contract was up for a renewal & the Galaxy S5 didn't seem to have any real advantage of the Note 3 so alas I didn't bother to wait.

Now however I am at a standstill...I would really like to root my device as soon as possible. I don't want custom firmware & would like to keep the stock so if there are official updates I can get them. Can anyone assist me please with a step by step to rooting my Note 3 preferably without tripping the knox counter that I have just recently only found out about thus voiding my warranty. I don't want to void the warranty but I would like root so I can use Titanium Backup so if anyone can please provide me with a step by step to safely rooting my device I will be so appreciative for it!

I like my extended batteries.
Just ordered a Zero Lemon 10,000 Mah battery for the Note 3.
Comes with a good looking case and screen protector.
Total Cost to ship to NZ was $89 odd bucks.

Tripped mine long ago. Just rooted it initially, but there were a few custom ROMs I was keen to try. Using Sweet ROM atm by an Aussie developer. It's the best one I reckon.

Any other custom ROM users?

Maybe knox isnt anything to worry about :)

If you have trouble with your phone the CGA still covers it, although you may have to do a bit of yelling
