Got mines today, anyone know how to change the nav bar to black, the white nav bar is bothering me

The bottom one? Apply a dark theme. Also apps on market can do it.

I'm trying to work out how to change toggle buttons colour

This is the first time I think I can say a phone is worth close to its realease price.

40 MP, f/1.8, 27mm (wide), 1/1.7", OIS, PDAF/Laser AF
20 MP B/W, f/1.6, 27mm (wide), 1/2.7", OIS, PDAF/Laser AF
8 MP, f/2.4, 80mm (telephoto), 1/4", 3x optical zoom, OIS, PDAF/Laser AF

1/1.7", that near half an inch right?

f1.6 wide

80mm telephoto

3x optical

and they all can shoot RGB? finally somebody is taking a phone camera seriously.

Mine was waiting for me when I got home late last night. Feels very good in the hand which surprises me. Plan to see what this camera is capable of today.

It seems the aggressive power management is still there but (for now) it seems it's respecting the Do Not Manage options per app better than before. Time will tell.

I think it's a great camera but this power management thing always ends up driving me away from Huawei. I used a OnePlus 5T for while and it is great - the camera was obviously not near as good.

Huawei told me once during an event that people who want Ring, Messenger, Fitbit and other apps to run in the background are "power users" and their system is focused on the everyday user... Yes, because everyone only ever wants to use the camera.

Yes have added a bit to the do no manage (including my security camera software etc).  I did notice however gmail and some other things notify on the huawei before the oneplus 6.

Good so far = charging, the thing is fast, battery is better when it comes to music, camera is nice

Not so good = screen (seen better on note 9 and oneplus). speakers are not great, software needs a lot of work still.

Will keep using it for now as i love battery life and charging speeds :)

Is there any way to get Google rather than Huawei on swipe left from the home screen?

Or will I need to use a different launcher like nova prime?

Looks like the option has been removed. I'm using nova now
