I pre-ordered direct from Samsung NZ on Sunday 24 Feb. Today the order status changed from "Order placed" to "Preparing dispatch". :-)

Kinda off topic, but anybody own a Google Home Hub care to share their experience with it?

I'm planning on preordering the S10 and still comparing preorder bundles from each retailer. I'm aware that all retailers offer the Galaxy Buds along with the phone. Noel Leeming offers a Google Home Hub but I don't really know how useful it is in NZ, as I'm pretty sure its not officially supported here.

Harvey Norman offers a UE Boom 3, but I've already got a great wireless sound system in my mancave while my old UE Boom is collecting dust in the corner.

The only offer left that kind of appeals is direct from Samsung. They offer a $150 voucher and a free screen replacement within the first year. I keep all my phones cased and have never cracked a screen before, but the curved display of the S10 gives me pause.

Too bad the PBTech bundles are all sold out :(

I received the offer that included a TV while I was on vacation abroad. Since I needed a new phone anyway I placed the order straightaway. I received a confirmation soon after but, not long after that, a notice that said my order was cancelled! As it turned out VF rejects orders from abroad. I had to make it once I arrived back in NZ.

Got my tax invoice yesterday. Can't say I've been this excited about a new phone for a very long time! I already ordered a Spigen case from Ascent too.

I here ya buddy. I'm pretty excited too! Although I'm probably just as excited about the freebie stuff as I am the phone itself.

Just got an email with CourierPost tracking number for my phone, and from Ascent saying my case was shipped! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I have started using the Hub from noel leeming and find it very good. Better than Home or Google Mini home etc. The screen actually can play videos, show slideshow of certain photos and take notes on your next event etc.

There is no camera on it for privacy reasons and I don't need one. It works fine in NZ, most if not all features that are meant to work overseas work here, not sure why it is not compatible here or not sold here?

I have two Google Home Hubs. They get used every day but that is because I have Hue lighting and Harmony remotes connected.
They are slightly more useful than the Home speakers but you need to be invested in the Google Home system, set your phone assistant the Australian English and then go from there.
There is a good YouTube channel called "Tech with Brett" that goes into the GH stuff from the beginning. Bearing in mind not everything that is demonstrated in the US works here. From what I have been able to ascertain the GA was supposed to come to NZ in November last year, and then March this year, and now, who knows when or if it actually will arrive, so Aussie settings are as close as you can get at the moment.

Personally, after looking at all the pre order goodies, I went with the PB Tech security pack (S10 6/128). Mainly because I already have or don't need any of the other things offered and thought I would give the Arlo Pro security camera a go. Supposedly the camera output can be displayed on the Google Home Hub. Will wait and see if that works in NZ.

Same for my Vodafone order. I have a text that says my number will port to VF on the morning of the 7th, a final bill from Spark showing my service with them ending on the 6th but VF web sales still claims my phone will ship on the 8th.

We’ll both probably getting tracking in the next 48 hours.

I rang VF and they said the order takes 5 working days to "process" and I should hear after that.
