The last time I ordered note 9 from Samsung I got a tracking number 1 week before. But the actual shipping was done the day before release.

Kinda off topic, but anybody own a Google Home Hub care to share their experience with it?

I have two Google Home Hubs. They get used every day but that is because I have Hue lighting and Harmony remotes connected.
They are slightly more useful than the Home speakers but you need to be invested in the Google Home system, set your phone assistant the Australian English and then go from there.
There is a good YouTube channel called "Tech with Brett" that goes into the GH stuff from the beginning. Bearing in mind not everything that is demonstrated in the US works here. From what I have been able to ascertain the GA was supposed to come to NZ in November last year, and then March this year, and now, who knows when or if it actually will arrive, so Aussie settings are as close as you can get at the moment.

Personally, after looking at all the pre order goodies, I went with the PB Tech security pack (S10 6/128). Mainly because I already have or don't need any of the other things offered and thought I would give the Arlo Pro security camera a go. Supposedly the camera output can be displayed on the Google Home Hub. Will wait and see if that works in NZ.

I've got Arlo Pro and Google Home Mini. If you ask GH to display a camera it will cast it to your chrome cast or any connected display. So I imagine with the hub it'll be exactly the same but with the ability to show the video feed on its own display. it's not a great experience tbh, fun for a play round but not actually practical.

I have started using the Hub from noel leeming and find it very good. Better than Home or Google Mini home etc. The screen actually can play videos, show slideshow of certain photos and take notes on your next event etc.

did you get the hub with the Galaxy S10 bundle? I ask this because NL told me I'd get my hubs and buds on the 8th when my S10's are ready instore for pickup, just wondering if you got yours early?

Yes I got from noel leeming bundle. They did not have stock the day I took the pre order. But they had stock in couple of days and I went and got it. Buds come as a package but hub is given by nl.

That's pretty shocking.

My brother in the US can actually specify exact delivery dates and 2 hour time slots for delivery, and watch his packages because they are scanned on every bin change in for and every vehicle change.

Here, yeah nah. She'll be right. It's now exactly 7 days since my "overnight" package was shipped by the ironically named Post Haste....

Spoke with Vodafone this morning, after ordering last week. First batch goes out 8th, not guarantee mine will be in the first batch.

Lady sounded like she was over people calling for updates, perhaps their online tracker could be upgraded so it actually showed where the process is at!

My tracking shows that my S10+ is out with the courier this morning for delivery. Purchased from Spark. So looks like they will start arriving today. Hype!

Ridiculous because they’re porting my number out on the 7th lmao

Vodafone really needs to get it together.

I still think they will ship in the next 24 hours or so. I don’t think customer service/sales has any idea what’s going on in dispatch so they’re keeping expectations low.

Wouldn’t surprise me if my S10 is out for delivery by the time they get around to sending tracking information my way.

I feel for customer service.

Why are we hounding them before the official release date?
Phone them on the release date.

Fair enough! They credited me for the 2 days when it happened to me before.
