Anyone ordered from NL has picked up today?
Wow... sounds like I should count myself lucky to have run my S10+ for 3 days now...

Geektastic:
Have you installed the software update that improves the fingerprint scanner performance?
Out of the box, mine was like you describe. After the update, it works heaps better.
Yeah it's definitely better but still a few failures. Less so for me but still not great for my wife. I imagine that there are still a few updates to refine it further though.

Just got a text saying my item is ready for pick up now. Good on NL.

Here's another tech tip (hey I should be on You Tube!).
The finger that you use (lets assume thumb but it does not matter) has been registered. Now go back to finger print registration and register another fingerprint - but actually the SAME one(s) again. Don't delete the original.
I have found that having at least two registrations of the same print seems to help by (I assume) averaging out the 'defects' in each registration.

I really wish they had a function like you have with Windows Hello facial recognition to update the data. I always find that over time fingerprint scans stop working but having to remove and re-add seems like a pain.
I see they now have a "Check added fingerprints" but this just tells you which profile the finger matches. Maybe it also updates it in the background but I doubt it.
Still for me it is working pretty well so far.

Nice thought, that could actually make sense if the other one actually superimposes on the initial one.
I still havent got the hang of using the fingerprint so much and think that's the reason its not performing well for me. It asks me to press a little harder or cover the entire scan area way too often. However, setting up smart lock and trusted devices unlock actually lessens the toll on the fingerprint and you kind of get used to the other bright features of S10. Still a worry for me ofcourse, hope it improves in further updates. Or may be its the screen protector. Has anyone tried it without the out-of-the-box screen protector?
Since I only ordered on Tuesday through Vodafone’s online store, I expected I was too late for the first batch of deliveries but messaged them through Facebook to get an update and just got a reply. They wanted to confirm my delivery address as they had a different one on my account – I had requested delivery to my work address rather than home since no one would be home to sign for it, and they would have had my home address against my existing account. I hadn’t received an email or text asking this, so hopefully it progresses now I’ve confirmed the address.
Just picked up a Spigen case for my s10 from PBTech Manukau. While at the counter, I saw a whole bunch of s10 preorder bundles sitting behind the counter so looks like PBTech customers get them today. Unfortunate to hear that others who preordered early are facing delays. Really hope you guys get your toys soon.
The only downside with this phone so far, is the fingerprint sensor. Even after the update that improved the sensor performance, I am still getting lots of 'Press a little harder', 'Make sure your finger covers the entire sensor' and 'No match'. I've registered four different fingers and all of them are unreliable. I've tried all sorts of finger pressing (long press, slightly pressing, tapping etc etc) - no dice. I'll have to try rescanning my fingerprints again and try to scan the same finger more than once. To be clear, I'm not using a screen protector at all.
Thankfully, I've found the Google Smart Lock with location works flawlessly with this phone (on my previous phones, it'll be locked sometimes even though I'm sitting at home). Hopefully the sensor will be improved in further updates.

Noted the same situation at PB Tech - Penrose yesterday when I went in and collected my goodies around 1pm.
Impressed with the S10e, build quality, screen, size, UI and feel.

When did you order yours? I ordered my s10e last weekend and I wonder whether it would be ready for pickup today.
Ratez: By the way the phones come with screen protectors.. I almost peeled mine off thinking it was just a temporary film.
Are they really screen protectors though? I kept that thing on and tried registering my fingerprints. Didn't work at all so I assumed that it's meant to be peeled off. It felt incredibly thin and flimsy, to be honest.
Though even after peeling it off, I'm still having trouble with the fingerprint sensor. Very weird.

I am starting to think that is more true than just an assumption. Maybe it resolves the fingerprint issue. Also, none of the best reviewers on youtube have mentioned this issue...maybe it is the screen protector.
