May not be specific to this device, but I’m using the S10 and Outlook app for emails, and suddenly today I am not getting notifications of new emails. Have not changed any settings, have checked that the device is allowing notifications from the Outlook app, notifications are on in the Outlook app settings and have done a restart. Any idea what else I could check?

That's strange. Usually my problem is too many notifications. Probably a buggy app.

Hmmm been using the app for a couple of years and not had this before. Will uninstall and install it again and see if that fixes it.

Edit: That seems to have sorted out. Strange.

Batman:

I haven't even used the phone yet and I've noticed that my font size (yes font size) changes at random.

From my experience Samsung commands a special kind of love hate relationship. Actually all mobile phones but I don't know why the feeling is stronger on Samsung. My Huawei handicaps me a lot and I don't seem to complain.

Agreed I've had the font change several times today, obviously something is optimising in the background.....

Out exercising this morning using Samsung health, the buds and Spotify and the music kept pausing and a tone every 20secs or so, all started today includong the font, so something happening in the background.

Hopefully it will all settledown.

Love the auto reset function overnight, I realised without it I would go maybe weeks without restarting the phone!

Can't speak highly enough of how good the phone is though.

Anyone else using full gestures instead of navigation bar?

I got rid of the navigation bar as it was just a defacto bezel - getting rid of it gives me more screen real estate.

It took me a few days to adjust, but now I am sold on using the gestures.

I am using the full gestures on my S10 Plus.

Samsung's full gestures implementation where it matches the 3 navigation buttons by swiping up I thought made perfect sense.

Swiping up from the middle of the bottom screen goes back to home and you just need to remember which side you had the navigation set up as the back so no need to remember any additional gestures.

Hi, i need some help.

I have spent the last 2 days setting up the phone and now I'm ready to restore my stuff from aother phone.

Is it possible to restore from a backup in google drive without wiping the phone settings?

Tried and nope , didn't cut it for me....the biggest loss of functionality for me is being about to bounce back and forth between the two most recent apps, double tapping the multitasking icon. Can't do that with gestures as far as I can see..

And you are also forced to make one handed a gesture if you go that way, you can't have the far more reliable triple tap on home icon.

Just got an email for trade-in just like last year. I am thinking of trading my old iPhone 5S which has a potential value of $404 based on the website. What is the best deal out there currently (including freebies) for any of the S10 models.

Some in the tech media are starting to notice that the exynos version takes blurrier photos than the snapdragon version. Something to do with the image signal processor in the SOC perhaps.
