Been reading overseas forum that dual SIM Exynos versions of S10 are receiving firmware updates with March security patch, which also includes fix for the battery draining bug.

I wonder when we'll receive the same update?

I am also excited about the possibility that Samsung might finally offer 25W wired fast charging through software update.

Any recommendations for S10 cases? Looking for something reasonably slim and pocketable, but still provides some protection.

Also needs a decent sized cutout for the charging port. I can only use 1 out of my 3 charging cables with the current case.

If you want a premium super slim case with decent protection check this out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6zkLr6_9w8 I've been using these cases on my last few phones including my S10, very strong and slim. pair it with their Qi car mount and it's awesome https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQQpQ90POdA

Hi, just saw the youtube video for this case, looks interesting.

Just wondering if it would offer protection on the screen by a way of a slightly raised lip on the top and bottom edge of the case?

I thought you cannot manually trigger the update it has to be pushed to you. I can tell you mine has not been fixed.

another annoyance.

my phone was in flight mode all of last night. no wifi no bluetooth. it's dropped 4% overnight.

wth!

so i open the battery app and it says

swiftkey keyboard background 7h 12 min (which by the way has had background activity turned off)

googleplay services 7h 12 min

so perhaps something google was awake and it took the keyboard with it.

looked at the individual google app background battery use and no google app has owned up to it. so the mystery deepens ...

My fingerprint update was delivered through Galaxy Store, not the firmware update facility.

does anyone know why i can't change the settings under "standby apps"? I've tried all power modes so as to not override it. adaptive battery is off.

For some reason, the phone seems to be trying to get the download from the Galaxy Store, which is an odd place to get a system update.
