Pricing from Voda, only standard s10 available for now
Vodafone pricing and extras (as usual, trust pre-sales promises of on time delivery as you trust an used car salesman):
Vodafone is urging customers to get in quick to take advantage of an awesome pre-sales offer ahead of the official Samsung Galaxy S10e, S10 and S10+ launch.
Vodafone’s Consumer Director Carolyn Luey said, “Any pre-orders of the new Samsung Galaxy S10e, S10 and S10+ on a $59.99 a month plan or above, get up to $500 of value in the package they receive. That’s a free set of Samsung Galaxy Buds worth $299 and $201 off the RRP when purchased on Interest Free.
“Even more importantly, any pre-orders received before 4 March will not only be dispatched before the official launch date of 8 March, but we’ll also ensure the add-ons arrive at the same time,” Luey said.
Those who order a new Samsung Galaxy S10 series device on an eligible plan will also get a year of Netflix on Vodafone, if they haven’t already*, combining leading content with Samsung’s Infinity Display to create the perfect visual experience.
The Samsung Galaxy S10e, S10 and S10+ offer an immersive viewing experience, with its revolutionary Ultra-Wide camera lens allowing for better pictures and professional level video creation.
“Samsung has completely revolutionised the camera. It is intelligent enough to recognise the scene with various background blur effects and composition guides, so you can take professional quality pictures at any moment.
“Vodafone is excited to offer the latest Samsung technology to our customers in a phone that marries functionality with beautiful design,” Luey added.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 range will be available in a variety of striking colours. Galaxy S10e will be available in Prism Black and Canary Yellow. Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ will be available in Prism White, Prism Black and Prism Green. Galaxy S10+ will also be available in Ceramic White, a stunning premium ceramic material only available in 1TB and 512GB memory variants.
Pre-sales of the Samsung Galaxy S10e, S10 and S10+ will be available online from 8am on Friday 22 February at https://www.vodafone.co.nz/s10 . The pre-sale ends 7 March and the smartphone will be in store from 8 March.

Sneak peek:
Not bad once you start factoring in carrier discounts etc
Edit: Check your trade-in value
Yes noels and 2degrees have updated with info now as well
Google home hub and galaxy buds from noels for pre order, also if you join 2degrees in store at noels there is 200 off
Does anyone know if the Samsung trade in discount can stack with the carrier discount?
Asking for for a friend...

Yes they did last time, trade-in was done via the website however after you purchase the phone. You then had to fill in a form with old imei and new imei numbers and they would send you out a courier bag and then credit your bank account.
$635 on Trade in for a Grade A Note9? Taking the piss a little isn't it?

Last year 4 weeks after they released the note9 they double the amount for trade in, don't know if they will do that again however
With the S10 priced the same as the much-lower spec'ed iPhone XR, you would have to have rocks in your to buy the Apple product IMHO.
In fact, I would argue that the 128GB S10e$ at 1,299 is a better spec'ed phone than the iPhone XS 64GB at $1,899. It has the same form factor as the XS, yet comes with more storage, a similar, but probably better, HDR AMOLED screen. And for the dual camera, it's a matter of personal preference versus the superwide S10e and the telephoto on the XS.
I'll probably go for the S10e over the S10 as I value the smaller form factor and flat screen. I don't mind giving up the ultrasonic fingerprint reader, but losing the optical zoom makes the decision a little harder. I'm also disappointed the S10 has the older gorilla glass and has lost the heart rate sensor (something I use quite a bit on my current S7).

Looks like the Galaxy Buds are a pretty standard pre-order bonus, seem to be on every single preorder offer yet.
Noel's is offering the Google Home Hub on top as well, so sign up to 2D in store and get those + $200 off.
Maybe since the Note 9 is only 6 months old, they might wait a little longer until after release to try to entice people to upgrade?
Pre-ordered S10+ through Spark.
Galaxy buds + half price on mobile plan for 6 months (worth $240) + additional data for 12 months is a nice deal.

Start your own thread if you want discuss Apple vs Android, you’re the only one trying to justify comparisons, I think people here are smart enough to make their own buying decisions.
I was comparing the announced S10 hardware relative to competing hardware, not Android v Apple. So not trying to justify anything; simply offering an opinion and comparison of the factors that were key to me in deciding which S10 variant to buy - so this is the appropriate thread.
