don't forget to head to the samsung app store after the update and upgrade all the apps
Yesterday was day two after updating and my battery was at literally 1% at bedtime with 1 hour 56 minutes screen time. TBH, I’ve always found the battery life crap on this S10+ compared to my last phone (OnePlus) but this is way worse than usual!
A bit of that I assume was the use of a gif on the always on lock screen, so have reverted back to a standard clock, but I sure hope that experience won’t be typical. High Google play services usage, but wouldn’t have a clue what app(s) were causing this, and I guess it could be an app or apps that aren’t playing nicely with Android 11?
How have others found battery life post update?
(BTW, wasn’t able to see battery usage breakdown after updating, but this is a well-acknowledged problem and there’s an easy fix.)
I tend to find battery life a bit rubbish after large OS updates, but after a week it goes back to normal...

this may just be me but since updating ... im not seeing any 5G wifi networks anymore ... including at the office. only the 2.4Ghz AP's
So battery life on my S10+ has improved somewhat but still not amazing; also this week had the alert the OS was going to put a significant number of apps into deep sleep, which may help matters. But I hadn't wiped the cache partition after upgrading so decided to do this today. Only to strike the problem that post-upgrade the usual combination of buttons didn't bring up recovery mode.
Has anyone else had this problem? Seems to be a wide issue, and the solution is somewhat weird - YT videos such as this one show people plugging in USB-C headphones into their Note 10, which then lets the phone boot into recovery mode. I had no USB-C headphones so tried with it plugged into a cable, both connected to power and not, and that didn't work - what did work was just having a USBC>micro USB adapter plugged in.
Hopefully this wiping the cache will help - anything else I should be doing?
I've also found my Galaxy Watch's battery life has become crud, and this coincided with the phone's OS upgrade - 22% drop since 7am, when that's typically closer to a full day's usage. Everything on that is up-to-date, but I guess I can but hope the promised update for older Samsung watches may fix it (or make it worse!).
Keep calm, and carry on posting.

Still an ongoing learning curve with the OS update. A couple of apps that were put into deep sleep when I didn’t want them to. Battery life is slightly worse than before, but not horrendous, and seems to be improving. I was annoyed that it turned on system care notifications (previously set to off) so it woke me up at 2am to let me know it was putting some apps into deep sleep.
I haven’t noticed any difference in my Gear S3’s battery life since the phone upgrade.
Edit: Thanks @Stu for the heads up about the latest security update (installed).

Yes I had this about a month ago when trying to update my note 10+ with OTA file from SD card and was shocked you can't get into recovery menu and solution was as you see in that video, never tried as just went back to long way round and updated via Odin. I don't know whether from Samsung or google changed when updated to android 11.

just looked at my phone (not daily driver) and march security patch was already installed - sorry don't know when but it'll come to yous soon
My S10e is still on the February patch level, even though it received this update in March. This matches the available firmware on Sammobile: https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-s10e/firmware/SM-G970F/TNZ/#SM-G970F
