Ignore uri, and now June rolling out. We're now looking at a quarter update! Still on march on spark.

Unacceptable on a two year old flagship. Updates appear to be monthly overseas.

There are three months worth of security vulnerabilities not patched

The device should be getting monthly updates per: https://security.samsungmobile.com/workScope.smsb

This is the list not patched in April and May, June should be added in the next day or so.

Given these are likely used by a number of corporates, it's just not good enough from Spark.

https://security.samsungmobile.com/securityUpdate.smsb

May patched these:

Critical
CVE-2021-0473, CVE-2021-0474, CVE-2021-0475

High
CVE-2020-25705, CVE-2020-11246, CVE-2020-11234, CVE-2020-15436, CVE-2020-29368, CVE-2020-11251, CVE-2020-11236, CVE-2020-11247, CVE-2020-11237, CVE-2020-11191, CVE-2020-11255, CVE-2020-11243, CVE-2021-0445, CVE-2021-0472, CVE-2021-0485, CVE-2021-0487, CVE-2021-0482, CVE-2021-0484, CVE-2021-0476, CVE-2021-0477, CVE-2021-0481, CVE-2021-0466, CVE-2021-0480

I have to admit that this delay is starting to make my device a little unusable. There's a bug in the battery optimization which is resulting in multiple apps on my phone losing network access. I either need to turn off battery optimization for the app which usually works or reboot the device which always does but only for a while.

According to this post it was a bug introduced in the March update which they've now fixed.

Solved: Random app lose internet connection after android... - Samsung Members

I even tried rebuilding the device but it just came back.

Hopefully Spark get the June release out soon.

I have had apps randomly stop working recently and was wondering why that was the case - it's really useful to know that it is because of this bug and hopefully we do get an update on that soon

Thanks for the heads-up; I’d checked last only on Sunday evening, so good to get the alert...

Thanks as well. Although when I saw your post I checked and it wasn’t available. Was available about 4 hours later.

Once it was done there were 35 apps requiring updating. I had only updated my apps just prior to the OS update. So either a weird coincidence (end of month maybe) or something in the updated OS triggered the app updates.

Cheers; same update available for a 2D S10+. When it rains it pours...

TBH, I’m impressed that the S10 series will be getting Android 12 (at some point!). It looks like my wife’s OP Nord won’t be, despite the latter being released 18 months after the former.

New update for my S10. Last one was 29 June, so I expect this is a security patch update.

Or maybe I’m a bit late to the party looking at the posts above. Bit disappointing that it had to be manually checked for rather than getting a notification.

Edit: yes, confirmed it was the June security patch released on 30 June. Silly me for not assuming there would be a patch released 1 day after the previous one. Maybe someone had been on leave and found both updates waiting for release approval…

… and now the July patch has arrived - this is certainly an improvement over earlier times.
