Device is in the last year of support, i'd not spend that amount of money on something that is getting close to EOL.

giollarnat:

Thanks for the advice - sorry what i meant by nz networks is the volte compatibility issue. Not a problem where there is 2G/3G around and if 3G doesnt get switched off i suppose. The Meizu i have was PBTech but clearly missing some NZ 3G/4G bands compared to other phones, don't really want that type of issue again. Samsung is safe in this regard.

I'm pretty sure the days of band issues are mostly behind us. If you buy a mainstream phone from Australia, it should work here with no issues. If you concerned if an overseas phone won't work on your mobile provider of choice, there are other forums here where people can advise, i.e. check the New Zealand Telecommunications forums here.

UI 4.1 just dropped on my S10e dual sim. Your NZ version should drop soon.

Received UI 4.1 on my S10+ in mid April. NZ 2degrees model.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.
