Is the Noel Leeming pre-order bundle the best out there? with 2degrees sign up it's actually costing 200 less than any other offer plus Google Home Hub and Buds included.

How tough is the ceramic back compared to glass?

New versions of the Galaxy fold might solve all this. On the front they could have selfie cameras by the dozen. When it's unfolded it could be all screen without a selfie camera spoiling the view.

The 'valued customer' offer I got via email from Vodafone is enticing:

S10+
$200 discount ($1499)
Buds
Samsung 43'' 4k tv
Netflix 12mths

If you sign up for a 24mth plan

The $200 off is a two degrees offer and not unique to any retailer so go with whoever ideas you the best bundle of free stuff.

Just reading up the T&C from Noel Leeming's site regarding 2degrees offer. You need to remain on the $55 plan for 3 months otherwise they will make you repay the $200 discount. I know it says iPhone but I literally clicked into that link from their S10 $200 off promotion page.

Unless they're wrong?

Geektastic: How tough is the ceramic back compared to glass?

As JerryRigEverything would say, scratches at a level 8 or 9 where as glass scratches at a level 6 with a deep grove at a level 7.

so long story short, it's much harder to scratch than glass, but it can be quite brittle, so dropping it has quite a high chance of chipping, so case up.

That was the case when my mum bought her s9. Had to stay on for 3 months. She decided it was worth it since she can share data with my dad.

Hoping someone that pre ordered can weigh in.

I don't see that on the pb tech web site or in the t&c on the 3 degrees web site but it might be worth ringing them to check.

Vodafone will give you the discount and lend you the money interest free without even signing up to a contract plan.

Thanks. Pretty much then as easy to chip etc as glass is to crack but harder to scratch so overall better, since getting a case is sane advice regardless!

Shame that -on VF anyway - ceramic only comes in white.

Interest Free Offer: Save $201 offer available when purchased Interest Free over 12 or 24 months on $59.99 and above Open Term plans. Total monthly cost is phone plus plan costs, plus an initial $49 deposit. Balance of phone cost, must be repaid if you exit, transfer or trade-down your plan before your Interest Free Term expires. Interest Free and Mobile terms apply.

This is what I'm seeing on the S10 page at vodafone. Is there a different way to get the discount and stay on interest free without signing up a contract? I'm currently on Spark and don't plan to change because I use the free Spotify premium offer.

Was looking at the genuine Samsung cover for the S10. Not cheap, but neither is the phone. I'm wondering if it will affect the wireless charging, both charge pad to phone and phone to watch/earbuds.
I don't really want to waste $90 on a Samsung case if it negates one of the reasons I'm upgrading (watch charging).
I found that third party cases prevented wireless charging on my S8 and ended up using a thin hard plastic one so it could still be charged.

The wireless charger works with my Spigen case for the s8.
I use Spigen on all my phones, used to get it shipped from US but is now available in NZ.
