Something on my Samsung A3 Galaxy has updated somewhere, and now, every single time I take a photo, I get a notification icon in the corner that my gallery is ready for backup. Is anyone else getting this? I've only had it happen in the last week or so. Yes, Samsung, I know I can backup to my gallery, but I don't need to be told every single time I take a photo. I've checked the Notification Settings but can't figure out how to turn the darn thing off.

Long press on the notification; this should expand to give you options to block these sort of notifications in the future.

For example, here is the standard notification from Facebook messenger being active:

When I long-press that, it changes to this:

Then I can either switch this specific notification off, or select the "All Categories" options to see more detail about what notifications the app is able to send, and selectively block either all or some of them.

Thanks heaps for the suggestion (I hadn't thought of that). This is what it looks like (still getting the notifications):

Huh; sorry, I assumed your Galaxy would be running a recent version of Android (because my brain read "A30" even though my eyes saw "A3"); looks like that may not be the case.

Try this?

(I Googled for "A3 block notifications")

I don't seem to have those options :( weird as I'm pretty sure I'm running Android 8?

Interesting that this pops up every time you take a photo. Given the notification says it's detected a new album, it sounds like a bug - unless it really is making a new album for every photo.

I'd just turn Samsung Cloud sync off entirely in settings, that should take care of it. Google Photos and OneDrive are better solutions for photo backup in my experience.
