What's the go with the 45w charger and the buying options?

Apparently in tests (charging from flat) the 45W charger isn't all that much faster than the 25W charger than comes with the phone.  The 45W charger would be even less of an advantage when regularly charging from 50%.  The 25W charger is pretty quick, I doubt that many people will need faster.

Samsung told us there isn't an AU/NZ version at this stage.

I seen it available to purchase at the samsung store. But yes, my experience with the 25w charger is that it seems to be as good as the 45w one.

I'm mostly used to all the form factor changes now.  You'll get there.  The one and only nitpick I have with the device at this stage is that the curved display touch input is too sensitive.  The fleshy part of my palm sometimes interferes with finger input on the main part of the display because it already registers a touch on the edge.  Minor, and I am working around it easily enough.  Just need to work that into my muscle memory over the next few days.

Look keep in the settings. With the note 9 there is both a setting for both overall touch sensitivity (for using with screen protectors) and blocking touches on the edge of the screen. Personally i use a big meaty case all never have a problem with touches on the edge of the screen.

I've already set those. There's also this: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01109061/

But I just need to train myself out of it. I use an app called Edge Gestures to mimic some iOS gestures (eg being able to swipe back rather from the side of the display rather than the bottom) so I don't want to completely disable the edge sensitivity.

Ditch that third party app and install one handed operation from Samsung. It's party of the good lock ecosystem. That gives you all the sweetie from the side goodness you beed. I have mine set to go back is you sweetie from the right or left side. I have left the smart select smart panel active but relegated it to a small part of the upper left edge of the screen so i don't hit it accidentally.

Looks like they work the same way (resizable transparent bar on the left and right edge), but Edge Gestures gives me far more options, some of which I use.  I'll stick with it.

So, I have fully migrated after resolving my wifi issues and as far as I can see there is no way like with my note 9 8 and 7 to have the phone unlocked and resuming whatever I was doing, with 1 press. IE with my note 9, I would pick up my phone, my finger naturally went to the Fingerprint scanner and I was in business. Right now I have to double-tap the screen then use the Finger Print scanner?

Yeah, I saw that option, but didn't enable it after I saw feedback online that it was a decent drain on battery life. I'll try it and see I guess.

It sucks that because of the photo lens, the device doesn't sit completely flat and rocks instead. Not very good for gaming.

Try facial recognition too.  I have both enabled.  If I want to go straight into something I had open  facial recognition takes me there.

I just tested using fingerprint to go back into an already open app, and that works too.  and I didn't need to tap first.  Maybe because I use the always on display I can see the fingerprint area and just press once and it takes me into the already open app immediately.

Yeah I may need to enable always on display. Any idea of battery impact?
