It works on flashtool with Xperia 5 II on latest flashtool.

When you download the firmware from xperiafirm you need to create a bundle in flashtool with all the firmware files (make sure you delete the fwinfo.xml file before creating the ftf)

Then you need to rename the script file located in [C:\Users\Your User\.flashTool\devices\XQ-AS] to 58.0.fsc if that is your model and firmware number.

Then flash and exlude the TA files.

As my signature indicates I use Sailfish OS, the official version of which is produced for various Sony Xperia devices.

Jolla are about to release an update to Sailfish that supports VoLTE. The Xperia 10iii will be the first device that VoLTE will be provisioned on a Sailfish device. I'm waiting to see how it all rolls out and seeing if there is a specific version of the phone that is supported before committing to buy a 10iii.

scottjpalmer:  I've got the latest EEA firmware on it now but no joy as yet...

Did you manage to get this working in the end? I'm having the same in Android 12 on an HK sourced 10 III

Have you tried your 10 III on sfos VoLTE yet?

No not yet. Jolla have only just last week released Sailfish OS for the 10iii with VoLTE  The VOLTE support is in Beta, and I've yet to get a 10iii. I'm keen to get a 10iii for several reasons including trying VOLTE but right at the moment I'm struggling to rationalise the spending as it's not a have to have item and there's other priorities. Perhaps I'll have to bite the bullet.

scottjpalmer: I gave up.

So I just came across [Magisk VoLTE enabler](https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/mod-magisk-root-volte-enabler.4372705/)

Don't have time to try it just now, but maybe worth a try, read the thread for more.

Interesting is that my Blackview which has been working for 9 months has stopped doing volte in the last couple of months (still does vowifi). Being a BV, there have been no android updates. So 2deg might have started using a whitelist. BV still works volte on voda.

So perhaps you would need to see if it works on voda if 2deg doesn't change. (X10 III doesn't do volte or vowifi on 2deg or voda)

When I gave up I sold it, no VoLTE was a dealbreaker due to my job.
