Its in the efs folder on the root directory of the device. You will need a file browser that does root access, like. Root explorer. I think sgs toolsalso has a option.

I just aquired a used Galaxy S. It is already running Darky 10.1 but not with the newest kernel available.
I have a few questions about how this whole custom rom stuff works for the Galaxy S as it is quite different from what im used to on my HTC Hero :)
What is the purpose of installing the first stock rom (ie. ficeto) via. Odin? If im already running Darky 10.1, do i still need to first install a stock rom using Odin before flashing over a Darky 10.1 with the newest kernel? I am both able to enter download mode and to access recovery mode with the 3-button combos!
Hi there - I have just followed your instructions word for word and it is all good. Thanks. I did not do the last step yet. I have a question. Does it matter which modem i select for telecom xt network? The last darky's rom i had did not give me very good reception at all. Can you suggest a modem for me? thanks
You will need to install a modem that its compatibles with the 850mhz that telecom uses. Check in the big samsung thread and ask what people are using there.
UGJL2 appears to be the best modem for use with XT. You can download from here http://perka.zapto.org/ click "samsung" then "modem_850_enabled" There is a variety of modems here you can choose from. Download the one you want (UGJL2 recommended), extract and then flash the modem.bin file in odin. Put it under the "phone" section and make sure repartition is not checked.
