Hi guys & gal,

I will shortly be upgrading to the SGSII from the original SGS, which my wife is going to inherit.

The SGS has all the games/apps backed up using TB Pro so naturally once I get my SGSII I will root it and restore them.

My question is how do I leave some of the games/app on the SGS for my wife as they have the saved progress?

Any suggestions/advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance

I would guess if TB is installed on the SGS you should be able to restore with save game data to that handset, in addition to doing the same on the new one (you may need to copy the TB folder around in order to achieve this - it defaults to being on the internal SD).

Yea TB will do it fine but you do have to copy the folder otherwise there will be nothing to restore ;) and make sure you press add+data not just app

Thanks guys for the responses.

Perhaps I did not explain my issue clearly before.

I understand I can just reinstall TB on my new SGS2 to restore all the app and their progress etc.

My wife enjoys playing pumpkin vs monsters game and has made some progress on it, so currently I periodically backup the game & data to TB on the SGS to my external SD.

Once I move onto SGS2, and restore the app, it will also restore that game and data on it.

How do I leave that game and its data on SGS once she inherits it?

Same story, just install the app and restore data, is that what you mean?

I'm not sure what you mean, when you back up the app that's all it does it doesn't ever remove the app from the SGS.

So when you restore on the SGS2 the app will still be on the SGS.

Not sure how this works in regards to paid apps and licenses though.
