Anyone able to comment about charging on a USB Desktop Dock. Right now I have a dock which connects to the mains not a USB, and I think that charges faster than USB, is that correct?

Rang them. No luck. They got 4 in all went to pre-orders and they will not be getting any for display. Dont expect any other branches will be either he said.

Here is what Samsung NZ said on their facebook.

Hey guys ? we know some of you will have been hanging out for the Pebble Blue Galaxy S III. We are pleased to be able to tell you that this has now arrived in New Zealand and should be available from your local Samsung Mobile retail store. Please contact your local Samsung Mobile retail store for details (stock availability may vary by location and date).

Noel Leeming, Vodafone and JB hifi is getting their stock from BrightPointOnline.co.nz
I called up Samsung 0800 number and they said they are only a third party call centre and I need to either contact NL or Vodafone to contact their supplier (BrightPoint) about their stock.

Rudder: Just picked up my 16GB blue from Noel Lemmings. They had 8 pre orders at the Lyall bay Noel Leeming but only 2 arrived so if you pre ordered at Noel Lemming I would call and ask if yours is there. Just opening the box now!

Dare I ask how the colour has turned out?

It looks really good. I will post some photos once I have gone and grabbed a sim from town. It varies greatly depending on the angle and source of light. Under no circumstance does it look unattractive. Looks best under halogen lights so far. Pretty cool in sunlight but a bit purple but you get the nice brushed look.

Not sure how to add photos so here is my attempt. This is my Blue 16GB that I received from Noel Lemming today. It looks really nice in person. The photos do not do it justice.

Oh man!

So your is 16GB right? Now I start to think that Samsung will never going to bring a 32G or 64G version like they did with their S2 last year. How could a manufacturer did this? I know it is cheaper for the 16GB but there are people who wanted something a little extra internally.

No news on the 32GB at all. I rang them up and still getting the same response from NL - On order and no other update.

yeah its 16gb  , now with ever expanding micro  memory's , people just go for 16gb when they can afford it ,they  go for the bigger memory's  .samsung probably sees this sales  trend , hence the delay for the 32gb

hahaha I did phone them 3 times today :D one for Hamilton store, auckland and main store. But they don't have a damn clue. Didn't Vodafone UK get the 32GB first? But how come no news about the 32GB being out at all? Those people waiting for the 32GB and pre-ordered must be stressing out like I am right now. Seeing all their friends, grandma and girlfriend getting the 16GB before they did. Ahh this is painful!

Update:

Seems like Vodafone UK has 32GB White instock but yet to have Blue 16/32GB. On back order for 2-4 weeks.
