It appears Prime has been transmitting nothing but black for quite some time now. I'm watching on an Igloo box in Christchurch. I don't think this is an issue with my setup because:
  • No other channel is affected in any way
  • The box indicates 25% quality 49% strength (19 dB SNR 57.0dBvU strength)
  • A reboot of the box changed nothing
  • Igloo normally indicates when signal is weak with a dialog. This hasn't happened it's just black and no audio.
Freeview indicates some issues with their link between Christchurch and Timaru currently causing issues for Timaru Freeview HD viewers, not sure if that has anything to do wiith this since it's only affecting one channel and Freeview indicate that this should be affecting viewers in Timaru, not Christchurch.

This has been going on for well over half an hour. which is a long time to be broadcasting black. Is this happening for everyone, or just me?

When using Igloo, does Prime come from the Kordia mux or from the Sky mux? We don't have Igloo, and weren't recording Prime last night, but I'm just curious.

Both prime and Choice were having issues last night

Prime on my Panny was 3-4 seconds ahead of audio about 11pm.

Choice was similar but not as large a gap.

Many reports on Primes FB site regarding it also.

The frequency associated with Prime according to the Igloo box is 594.0MHz. Semi-confident that's part of the Kordia mux. I can also report that Prime's analog transmission appeared entirely unaffected.

It is. Search the RSM licences database for 'Channel' DTV36
