Hi guys, from a Google search I understand my phone should work on all of 2 degrees bands.

From 2 degrees website I should have good 4g coverage where I am now, but I'm only roaming to Vodafone 3g. Not sure why. Any ideas? I'm pulling less than 0.25mbs on 3g, not enough for my purposes. I can't seem to get 4g working...

4g usually works for me at home, just not where I am right now.

Have you tried calling 2d and checking if they possibly have a cell tower outage?

Are you sure your handset is able to be used on the 2 degrees network. Which is.

900//2100  3G UMTS

and 700/1800/ on the 4G network

No I haven't checked with 2 degrees, I thought probably this would be a handset issue. Apparently I have 1800 band on my phone, but not sure about 700 band. I'm in Coromandel, would the 700 band by chance be for low density areas?

Cool site, thanks! Looks like 2 degrees tower should be showing 1800 band. When I force my phone to search a network of seeks spark and Vodafone, but not 2 degrees. Weird. Maybe the tower was affected in yesterday's Coromandel power cut?

Tried my SIM in another newer 4g phone and still doesn't pick up 4g, despite being in a good 2 degrees coverage area. I guess it's a 2 degrees issue, not a handset issue. Nothing wrong showing on the website about an outage in my area.

Is the handset 4G 700Mhz band 28  (Used in NZ) or the USA 700 4G?
