Hi, first time on the geekzone website but I hear about it alot at work! Wondering if anyone would have an idea on how much a replacement touch screen would be for a Nokia 5800. Have phoned the Nokia care centre to get a rough idea, but they wouldn't give me any indication :( I see they make do-it-yourself kit things for iphone touch screen repairs but couldn't find one for a Nokia. If someone could enlighten that would be great as only going to repair if it is cost effective to do so.

Thanks :)

Hi, if its just a crack on the screen surely I would only need to replace the screen not the sensor? The touch facilities still work fine, the crack comes up from the red key and covers a bit of the contacts symbol but i can still touch that part and it works....Did you replace both? How did you get the front off the nokia to replace, it looks like it just clips off but knowing my luck it doesn't lol and I will probably snap something.....Thanks
