Looking for a nice digital camera with cool features to take away on trips and holidays etc.
this camera looks rather nice but not too sure.

looks pretty decent for a compact camera.  i like the 'defocus' it offers, first time i've seen that in a compact.

the lithium batterys are great for trips - but but a spare if you can.

this one takes SD card too so you;re not tied to memory stick.

the only thing i'd suggest is looking at the same features in a model with the carl zeiss lenses - they are much better quality lenses.

otherwise, i always recommend sony and canon as great for compact cameras.

Ive gopt the tx5 and its a wicked camera to use. The interface is easy to understand and is actually coherent unlike some others Ive used.
THe sweep panorama mode is brilliant and takes very good panorama shots.
I'd say go for it.
