Greetings after an assortment of metric screws eg hex m3-m6 and posi and others.

Searching online only one place had box of 500 in the range which were around $20.

Its been a few years since I brought an assortment, but back in the day, they were cheap as chips.

Anyone got a supplier they use?

Thanks, Al

Alistair Grant George

Wow where do I get 500 screws for $20?

That is already cheap as chips AFAIK.

Thanks. Having these handy is great.

I know Mitre 10 sell these in smaller quantities but they are generally $3-5 dollars. So that set it actually pretty good value if you ask me.

I order all mine off aliexpress because they're so expensive and hard to get small long metric ones in NZ. Mitre10 and bunnings have a crapload of packs of some bastard inch size that is not normal UNC or UNF ones so useless other than with the supplied nuts in the pack, limited packs of metric at them, mitre10 do have bags in a draw of metric but they're even more expensive, and stuff paying close to $1 per small bolt.

I have bought boxes of screws bolts washers springs etc from topmaq shop in town for general use. The bolt in the hand being more useful than the bolt at the closed specific supplier

If I'm buying specific higher spec stuff I go to blacks fasteners.
