I am replacing the battery of an Edge Garmin 520. 

I am unable to determine how to get these two connectors to join, as much due to not being able to clearly see, and understanding how this connector interfaces. 

I am worried I might (or may have already) break something in trying to 'push' the part that says 'push' on the black connector.
