I use it for movies all the time, but have not used it for Prime.  The movies are often released far earlier than NZ and sometimes even before they have reached cinema here.  I have always found the stream to be top knotch.

I thought this was going to be about the same issue i was just facing.

Bought a firetv a month ago, trialled the amazon prime service, didnt like it so left it where it was. Just now i check my credit card and ive been billed $99 for a years subscription! No warning just billed.
However it was an easy 2 min chat with a amazon CSR to get this cancelled and refunded.

Most services wait for YOU to cancel before automatic billing happens.

Back on topic, I use Amazon Instant Video a lot now, mainly because of the Amazon Fire TV.
