Hi Experts

Sorry if this has been specifically asked but I have searched and I can not find a thread.

My wife has her foot up for a few weeks(broken ankle) so I thought she should have some additional entertainment than just basic SKY so I decided to activate the one month trial for Netflix on the WD TV Live.

I am with Slingshot and I have Global Mode enabled.  It was very simple to activate with my NZ Westpac MasterCard and with my Oregon zip code.

We have been watching a few things and it is streaming perfectly with no buffering.

Now to my question.  How do I get the Hulu+ and the iPlayer applications to install on the WD TV Live.  I thought it would have happened with Global Mode but they have not turned up.

Is there some easy steps to make this happen?  My configuration is simple.  i.e. Naked ADSL2 with Slingshot, Netgear N300 dual band modem/wireless router.  Primary and secondary DNS set manually in the modem as per Slingshots instructions to:

  • 202.180.64.10
  • 202.180.64.11
WD TV Live is connected wirelessly with a full signal strength. (latest firmware 2.02.32)

Could someone please guide me how to get these additional streamers to "turn up" in my WD TV Live or how to change my configuration.  I thought global mode meant I would not need to do this via a VPN. i.e. Netflix already works.

Thanks

Patrick
